Bell Scaffolding promote the enforcement of Health and Safety Legislation and are
committed to the safety of all employees, customers and anyone else affected by our
business activities.
The work we undertake adheres to the following guidelines:
- The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
- Work at Height Regulations (WAHR)
- BS 1139 for Metal scaffolding
- BS 2482/81 for Scaffold boards and
- BS 5973 Code of Practice for Access and Working Platforms
As a critical part of risk management we take ultimate responsibility for providing
a safe work environment. All construction sites receive an appropriate supply of
equipment, professionally installed and dismantled using safe work methods.

Great steps are taken to ensure materials used are properly stored, handled and transported.
We keep up to date with instructions provided by manufacturers and suppliers of equipment
and are familiar with, and understand the procedures and actions required to ensure
the safest workplace possible.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn at all times and we can be quickly identified
by Bell Scaffoldings uniform.
